About Us

This program is designed to help 15 to 20 year olds who are in a homeless status and attend public high school within Jefferson County, Missouri.  Participants who receive the HYI college scholarship may continue to receive goods and services until they receive their Associate's degree.  Our primary goal is to assist these youth in becoming self-sufficient by providing them with tools and resources they will need to be successful in an independent living situation.  We work through Jefferson County public high schools and depend on their referral before delivering goods and/or services.  This process allows us to count homeless youth and acknowledge their needs in Jefferson County, Missouri.
